Frequently asked questions Do you have a store where I can come see your jewelry in person? No, but we hope to someday soon. We do have a 30-day return policy if you change your mind about a purchase. Do you sell wholesale? No. We want to keep the cost to our customers as low as possible. Selling wholesale would force us to raise our prices to allow others to compete. How do I make a return? Please see our 30-day no hassle returns page for more information. Jewelry questions Are your diamonds conflict free? AlluringBody has a strict policy against the sale of conflict or "blood diamonds". All AlluringBody diamonds are guaranteed to be conflict free. We purchase diamonds from respected suppliers who adhere to the Kimberley Process and laws established by the United Nations and other countries. The Kimberley Process, or the "Clean Diamond Trade Act", was enacted in 2003 by the United States and other countries to eliminate the conflict diamond trade. How do I know if your diamonds and gemstones are real? All of the stones in our jewelry are genuine. In fact, all of the gemstones used, except our blue topaz, are natural and have not been irradiated to enhance the color. If you were to inspect our stones with a loop you will find tiny inclusions that occur in natural stones. If you take the jewelry to a jeweler, they will be able to verify this. The natural color of stones varies. We try to use the best quality, but there is some variation in the color from piece to piece. We match the color of all the stones on the same piece. Does your diamond jewelry come with a certificate? All of our high-end diamond jewelry (.5ct or larger) comes with a GIA certificate. Our smaller diamonds do not have a certificate because the cost would be too great. I found a style that I like, but I want it made with a different gemstone. Is this possible? Yes, please contact us for more information. Do you make custom bar lengths? Yes, please see our custom sizes page for more information What are the tiny letters on the jewelry? The letters are the initials of the jeweler that made the piece, plus 14K and/or "58.5". 14k and "58.5" indicate the purity of the gold or the gold content. All quality jewelry should be stamped for authenticity. Is your body piercing jewelry internally or externally threaded? What is the difference? Our top dangle styles, except the Reverse-style dangling blue topaz belly rings, are internally threaded. All of our other styles are externally threaded. Externally threaded body jewelry is stronger and the bars are solid. Internally threaded body jewelry does not have any threads on the outside of the bar. Because the threads are on the inside, it does less damage to a piercing when the jewelry is being changed. Each type of threading has its advantages. We try to choose the best threading for each piece. I just got a piercing, when can I change my jewelry? Please consult with a piercing professional. Most piercers recommend that the piercing heal completely before changing the jewelry. We feel that body jewelry should always be first changed by a professional in a sterile environment. Shipping questions Do you ship to countries other than the USA, Canada, and the UK? We don't ship to other countries due to lack of fraud protection and/or high shipping costs. Can I track my order in transit? When your order is shipped, you will receive an email confirmation that includes a Tracking Number (for USPS Express Mail & FedEx 2Day Express) or a Delivery Confirmation Number (for USPS Priority Mail). A Delivery Confirmation Number cannot be used to track packages in transit, it can only be used to find out if any delivery attempts have been made and when your package arrives at its final destination. International orders cannot be tracked while in transit. Must I be at the shipping address when the package arrives? Yes, all of our shipping methods require a signature upon delivery, except APO/FPO addresses. If you are not available, several attempts to deliver the package will be made. You can also pick up your package from the Post Office or the courier's designated location. Instructions will be provided by the courier if you are unavailable to receive your package. When will I get my order? We pre-make most of our styles so you can receive the jewelry as soon as possible. To calculate the estimated arrival date for an item, simply add the item availability (found on the item page) to the shipping speed. Please don't hesitate to contact us if you need help calculating arrival dates. I didn't receive a shipping confirmation email. Has my order been shipped yet? You will receive a confirmation email after the order ships. On rare occasions, your order may take slightly longer to ship than expected. If you do not receive a confirmation email, you may have entered your email address incorrectly or your email account may be blocking our message. Please contact us if you have any concerns about your order. Have a question?
