Q: Is your body piercing jewelry internally or externally threaded?

A: All of our bars are externally threaded. Externally threaded body jewelry is stronger and more expensive to make than internally threaded body jewelry. Internally threaded body jewelry is made with cheaper hollow bars that can bend or break when made of 14kt gold. Ouch! All of our bars are made with nickel-free solid gold or platinum.

Q: I just got a piercing, when can I change my jewelry?

A: Please consult with a piercing professional. Most piercers recommend that the piercing heal completely before changing the jewelry. The healing time for nostril and navel piercing is 6 months to 1 year. The first time that you change your jewelry, we recommend that it be done by a professional in a sterile environment.
